I make films about people who are performing a version of themselves that costs them something.

Growing up in London I learned early how identity gets read, misread, and reduced. That experience sits at the centre of everything I make. My work finds the gap between the face someone shows the world and what's happening underneath it.

I’ve been drawn to the athlete, the person in recovery and the everyone that is trying to become or escape something.
